FOCUS brings "The World in 2012" to its readers

The news magazine FOCUS continues its cooperation with “The Economist” regarding the yearly special edition magazine “The World in 2012”. After last year’s successful launch, FOCUS issues under the licence of the British weekly magazine “The Economist” a second special edition with the outlook for the year 2012.
 
 

"The World in 2012"

The special edition magazine “The World in 2012” will be issued on December 8th, 2011 to a similar copy price as last year’s edition: 6.90 Euro. The initial 144 pages issue of “The World in 2011” sold 50,000 copies. The publication offers a detailed outlook for the coming year and complementary articles on such topics as politics, economy and culture. Additionally to the translated content licensed from “The Economist”, the editors of FOCUS magazine produce an extensive and exclusive Germany-specific special report section.

FOCUS Magazin Verlag GmbH belongs to the Burda News Group and owns the exclusive licence for “The World in…” format in the German-speaking countries. This special had been published and distributed by “The Economist Newspaper Limited” for more than 26 years.

The advertising rate for a full-page (1/1) ad in the magazine “The World in 2012” amounts to 13,900 Euro.
